How to Measure ...?
Measuring up your windows is not difficult at all. is If you follow our easy instructions below, we promise to ensure a good fit for your blinds. May we suggest that all you will need to measure your windows correctly is a steel tape measure, pen and paper. The easiest measurement to use is 'Centimetres', but we still can operate in good old 'Inches' if you prefer. Before you start to measure you must first decide whether you would like your blind to hang inside the window recess or on the outside of the window recess.

Inside Window Recess
1) Measure the recess width in 3 different positions inside the window recess from side to side. The most important measurement to write down is the smallest one of the 3.
2) Measure the Drop (height) also in 3 different positions inside the recess from the top of the recess to the window sill. As before the most important measurement to write down is the smallest one.

Outside Window Recess
1) Measure the width of your window then add at least 175mm to allow for overlap.
2) Measure the drop (height) of your window and add at least 175mm to allow for overlap.

Notes:
One tip we always offer our clients is to ask that you always measure every window, as we find no two windows are ever the same size! We will then make the Blinds to fit each window. Please do not make any allowances while measuring, just give us the exact sizes and we will make all the necessary deductions to ensure that your blinds always fit perfectly.
